"I am best described as a layerist/collagist. No matter what the medium I am working in-- be it printmaking, collage, paint, encaustics, photography, or mixed media,  I layer my work in much the way I collage papers and fabrics. Even in printmaking, I overlay the various plates for a collaged and layered effect."
